Based on the fundamental class format developed by barre originator Lotte Berk, this full body workout combines the best of classical ballet technique, Pilates and yoga. Using your own bodyweight as resistance, participants isolate and work the muscles of their upper body, thighs and abdominals to the point of fatigue then stretch them to achieve a long, lean physique. The featured seat work is "pretzel". No, it's not a snack! Pretzel is an iconic exercise based on Martha Graham dance technique intended to tone and tighten the seat and waist area. Once you get the hang of it and begin to see the results you too will be hooked!
