Based on the fundamental class format developed by barre originator Lotte Berk, this full body workout combines the best of classical ballet technique, Pilates and yoga. Using your own bodyweight as resistance, participants isolate and work the muscles of their upper body, thighs and abdominals to the point of fatigue then stretch them to achieve a long, lean physique. The featured seat-work is "Fold Over", an exercise intended to sculpt and tone your seat and increase bone density. It might possibly be the best hour of your week!
